We can dig
         And dig
            And dig
            Searching
                 Just pick
             And pick
We can pick
            But
        Really
        Is the hunt for
The perfect one
  #######  Ever worth
The nosebleed?

  1. I love the shape of this poem. Somehow it adds more to the imagery and the "search" of the poem. Was this your "hunter/hunted" poem? And that last line was perfect! It makes me thinks of times running all my energy into exhaustion on summer days just to return with a nosebleed from the heat and still not be satisfied with all the playing I did that day...

  2. I'm glad you squeezed all of that out of my poem about a hunt for the perfect booger lol. The image is of a boys face with his tongue out. I guess after reading it, it describes multiple aspects of childhood.
