Day Two: Light/Dark (Boom Boom)

blackness absolutely
give me nightshade
impenetrable brown sweetness
warm rich dusky darkness
shroud me in the unyielding cover of midnights embrace

kill the lights and bring me inward
to the cool creeping Coltrane
slinky ass blues note
intimate veil of sweet juicy blackness

then set me alight with the catalytic burst
the knee bent head bowed confession of your true love for me
in the fire of your kiss
send my aura twirling across our
ebony canvas
auroras twisting between poles
yes King
we will be the northern lights of freedom
in these southern skies
a testament to our majesty
the miracles in our hands
and the diamond dust in our trails
Supernova With Me
against this sweet black backdrop
and let our masterpiece
bear its witness to the world
