Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is the black man’s social condition
In a society where he is constantly put at odds with his intuition
Hearing the voices of Kings Warriors and struggle
Moores, Ethiops and Kemetic brothers
Whispering the greatness of his lineage into his backbone
He stands erect unwilling to bow down
Throned in the reality that only exists in his heart and head
Dichotomous with the food for thought fed by a society that can’t hear the years of royalty in his bloodline
Over the shuffling sounds of hate in the redistribution of genealogical lines
He is a shadow that sits in the silent vertex of distant corners
Praying that boring eyes can’t read brain waves
Paranoid that someone might brand him revolutionary and assassinate his brave into the conclaves of the insubordinate
Important to name his theories conspiracies to keep the world from believing in his truth
But brother the world is trying to attack you!  Been coming at you, trying to harm you while telling you your mental is out of order
Claiming that your very being is disorder
And for these reasons no one believes in your abilities to bring home that bacon
Making children of our men and mamas keep ‘em crib laden
Likely to wholly take in your prescribe position
Function with the symptoms
A lifetime as victim
Some tokened in success or push pass their “problem” to make racial progress
But I am certain
Schizophrenia is the black mans social condition.
